We regret to inform you that the Milwaukee Area Connect 3 on 3 Event has been cancelled for this year. This is due to a lack of teams signing up to participate in the tournament. There are a variety of factors affecting our event, including a competing basketball tournament being held on the same day and the lack of disposable income in the families of our community. We have, however, not given up on having a Connect 3 on 3 basketball event here in Wisconsin. Milwaukee Area Connect 3 on 3 will return in 2010.
We would like to recognize and thank our sponsors (Cousin’s Subs, Waukesha State Bank, Suson Eye Specialists, Upward Basketball, and Elmbrook Church) who graciously supported us in laying the solid groundwork for this event. We would also like to thank the volunteers that signed up and were ready and able to make this a great event. We hope that you will join us for the 2010 event. Please watch for the new date in the coming months.
Milwaukee Area Connect 3on3---Overview
The Connect 3 on 3 and Family Fun Zone is an event that is geared to provide great competition for those who are looking for a well-organized 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. While it is a day of basketball, it is also a day where families can come and enjoy a day of fun activities in the Family Fun Zone. So whether you are looking to play basketball or looking for something fun to do with your family...this event is for you. (For those playing basketball you must pre-register.)
As you review the schedule of the day you will notice there is something going on all day from basketball games, $10,000 Hot Shot Competition, carnival games, door prizes, gift bags, inflatables games, on-site food court, and so much more...
