History
Connect 3on3 was born out of a vision to provide a quality event that would bring the community together for a day of competition and fun in a family friendly environment. Since 2002, that is just what has happened.
Businesses/Organizations such as Starbucks, Pepsi, Chick-fil-A, Cold Stone Creamery, YMCA, Rolling Hills Community Church and various radio stations have joined in on the event. The team has grown and so has the excitement about this event. The event was conducted in 2002 in Franklin (Cool Springs),TN, and then it grew to two cities in 2003; one in Cool Springs and another in Athens, GA. Both of these cities have done several successful events and are gearing up for many more. The Cool Springs event regularly draws over 4,000 people in one day of competition at the 3on3 Basketball Tournament and fun in the Chick-fil-A Family FunZone.
From 2004 to the present, many cities have called desiring to conduct a Connect 3 on 3 and Family FunZone in their city. Today, several other cities have been added to the list and the Connect 3on3 staff is expecting to be in 25 cities over the next couple of years.
